Our objective at Locomotion Today is to exhort you to take action . . . to enjoy your life . . . and to enrich the lives of people within your sphere of influence. Regardless of your state of affairs, you can improve your circumstances and assist those individuals around you in need of support.
There is no requirement for you to be rich, talented, or perfect; thus, you have no excuse for your lack of accomplishments—personal, charitable, or otherwise. So, acknowledge your abysmal decisions of the past and make adjustments going forward. If you do not take responsibility for your situation, you will never progress in life. Part of being an adult is owning your mistakes and correcting them.
Moreover, with an increased level of maturity, you’ll be capable of focusing on someone other than yourself. Therefore, helping your family, friends, coworkers, and enemies will not be a burden but a pleasurable experience. Yes, I said your enemies, too.
“When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things” (1 Corinthians 13, KJV).
“For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them” (Luke 6:32, KJV).
“But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil” (Luke 6:35, KJV).
Every day you have a choice: make excuses or make a difference.
Today is the day to develop locomotion.
